ShannonGardens is the creation of Shannon Swain, who enjoys creating landscapes that combine a keen eye for beautiful plant material with a desire to make unique outdoor living spaces for clients.

Shannon’s passion for gardening began in the kitchen, where she wanted the freshest vegetables, herbs and fruit for her catering business. Upon moving to Northen California, Shannon was so inspired by the local climate, and the extraordinary variety of plants and trees this temperate climate supports, that her catering business quickly gave way to custom landscape design.

15 years as a flight attendant gave Shannon strong customer service skills, and it was only a matter of time before her passions combined as ShannonGardens. For over seven years, Shannon has brought the hidden possibilities of her clients' gardens to life. Shannon's eye for detail and commitment to quality enable her to transform a site while still making sure everyone enjoys the process.

Shannon is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, the California Landscape Contractor's Association, and has been active in Foothill College's Horticulture and Design program for over five years.
